DARLA

Studio Darla is a sustainable, made to order brand that embraces whimsical, bygone styles.

Darla uses recycled fabric to create their garments and adopt a 0 waste, 0 plastic studio, all scraps are used for tags and made into accessories. She uses paper packaging that fully degrades into the environment and acid free tissue paper. Every item is made to order to avoid mass producing and creating even more waste they also rent samples out on By Rotation. As Darla grows they want to continue to improve their sustainability efforts. They plan to do this by switching there studio over to a completely green energy supplier and enforcing a zero one-use plastic policy as we take on more staff.


INFLAIR

InFlair - are a made to order company, that source material from 100% recycled fabric. There packaging is bio-degradable, they use acid free paper, fabric swatch cards from cotton waste. There main materials they use are Lenzing EcoVero Viscose, Recycled Polyester Satin, and Eco-Rayon- Viscose.


BYELLEVEN

ByElleven is a streetwear inspired slow fashion brand, they take inspiration from from street style influencers and feature premium, organic cotton clothing for an everyday wardrobe. There garments are sustainable and stylish. They use fabrics that increase biodiversity and are recycled from ethically sourced manufacturers, they also offer vintage - handpicked designs chose to wear with each collection. They encourage customers styling there products with vintage products and sharing the love for vintage.


PATAGONIA

Patagonia is one of the most known brands for there active sustainability efforts. Patagonia have built robust environmental and animal welfare responsibility programmes to guide the production of their materials. 89% of there fabrics are built with preferred materials, 100% of there down is responsibly sourced and 100% of virgin cotton in there clothing is grown organically. Main fabrics they use: recycled spandex, regenerative organic cotton, Infinna fibre, recycled cotton, organic cotton, recycled polyester, nylon, recycled down and more. They are very open about who they do business with - as of 2022 100% renewable energy has been achieved in the United States on site and off site installations.


BIRD SONG

'For people who want to dress with joy, support makers and protect the planet, Birdsong skillfully creates not-so-everyday staples and made-for-you pieces in the most ethical, socially impactful way possible.'

All of there BirdSong workers are paid more than the minimum wage at £11.95 and are allowed flexible working hours for workers with children and families in care and need. They use sustainable materials like cotton, and bamboo lyocell. All of the materials they use are breathable, durable and soft on the skin. They are fully transparent on there manufacturing, and garment construction, they only buy and work with local communities and re invest in small communities and lowering the carbon footprint.


BAMFORD

Bamford was founded on a belief to be more connected with the earth. They use fully biodegradable materials for there items and embrace nature in every way they can with all materials locally and ethically grown. All packaging is eco friendly and gives back to the environment, they use natural products like bamboo.
